After four years at the Woolly Sheep, Skipton Matthew Hogg, along with his partner
Jo Williams, has moved back to take up the Manager's role at the Timothy Taylor owned Ferrands Arms, Bingley where he was Assistant Manager for six years.
Matthew intends to build on the success achieved by his predecessor Andrew Goodall at the lively town centre bar and will be continuing with DJ driven activity on Friday and Saturday nights and Karaoke every Thursday.
One of the stars of the Karaoke evenings is the Ferrands singing Chef Liam Barnes who in 2006 reached the UK final of the World Karaoke Championships.
One side of the business Matthew and Jo are looking to develop is the food. A new seasonal menu developed especially for the Ferrands Arms under the guidance of Taylor's Group Food Manager Adrian Sykes will be introduced at the end of March. Emphasis will remain on classic pub dishes with Liam having the flexibility to add his own Ferrands Arms specials.
Operations Manager Marc Craddock said: "I am delighted to be promoting Matthew and Jo from within Taylor's team, they are both well proven assistant managers and I know that they are fully capable of grabbing this great opportunity".
