After almost 3 years at the Ferrands Arms, Bingley Andy Goodall has returned, with his partner Andrea Pollakora, to take charge at the Woolly Sheep Inn. It was at the Timothy Taylor owned pub that Andy started his managerial career 10 years ago.
Plans are in hand to make a number of changes at the thriving town centre inn later in the year but in the meantime Andy and Andrea have plans of their own, as Andy explained: "Jon, the previous manager, did an excellent job so he'll be a difficult act to follow. However, we are looking at introducing a quiz night and will be organising one or two days out to Ripon Races".
Evening food is another area the couple have identified to develop, together with breakfasts which are served each day 7.30am to 9.30am. To this end new Head Chef Jamie Caan has recently joined the team and he, no doubt, will look to add his own personal touch to the menu.
Andy and Andrea are also looking to take full advantage of the nine en-suite bedrooms, many of which were refurbished late last year.
Timothy Taylor's Operations Manager Marc Craddock said: "Andy and Andrea are an extremely professional couple. The Woolly Sheep is in safe hands and I'm sure it will go from strength to strength."
