Originally a coaching house, the Fleece is conveniently situated on the Main Street at the very heart of the village.

As the village where the Bronte sisters grew up Haworth has become a world famous tourist attraction with much to offer the visitor:

• See the Bronte Parsonage Museum
• Ride on the Worth Valley Railway where ‘The Railway Children ’was filmed
• Wander the cobbled Main Street and browse through the interesting gift and bric-a-brac shops
• Explore the rugged beauty of the surrounding heather moors that featured in the Bronte novels including Wuthering Heights.
• ‘Last of the Summer Wine ’country and the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park are just a short drive away.

Traditional Pub Atmosphere

The Fleece has recently been completely refurbished yet still retains all its old character.
The stone flagged bar where Branwell Bronte once drank offers fine English cask ales whilst excellent bar food is served both at lunchtime and in the evening.
If you prefer to eat a little more formally there is a two tier dining area.

As with the rest of the pub all the rooms have also been refurbished to a very high standard.
There is a choice of single or double bedrooms. All are en-suite and well equipped with country pine furniture,colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
