Purchase Ledger Clerk

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ledger clerk to oversee the ledger in its entirety, taking the reins from a long-standing employee who is due to retire.

Working in a team of five and reporting into the financial controller, you will form strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure all suppliers are paid to agreed timescales, working as part of a cohesive finance team, providing knowledge, experience and support across the board. Ideally, you will be someone who can think outside the box, have the confidence to speak up to improve processes with the overall aim or working in a paperless environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced ledger clerk looking for a new opportunity in the local district. Salary on offer will pay in the region of £28,000 with an excellent pension contribution on offer. Holidays are 25+ bank, with discretionary bonus on offer. Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8-5 and Fridays 8-4, totalling 40 hours over the week.
