Timothy Taylor’s loyal fan goes through UK’s first successful double hand transplant

19/08/2016

We are delighted to hear that one of our loyal fans went through the UK’s first successful double hand transplant recently. Performed at Leeds General Infirmary and led by Professor Simon Kay. After going through the trauma of losing both his hands, apart from his thumbs in a metal pressing accident at work, Chris King is delighted with the results of the operation, “they look absolutely tremendous” he said. Wanting to get back to doing simple, everyday tasks, Chris is looking forward to using buttoned shirts, trimming the hedge and not forgetting “A bottle of Timothy Taylor’s – that’s what I can’t wait to get back for”. Well Chris, we’re all wishing you a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming you to Knowle Spring Brewery to show you exactly what goes into brewing ‘that Taylor’s taste’.
