Timothy Taylor’s adds to pub portfolio

October 2015 – The Devonshire Hotel, Grassington, situated in the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, has been purchased by Timothy Taylor’s of Keighley. The pub will be closed initially for essential works and should be reopening late November.

Timothy Taylor’s has a portfolio of eighteen pubs, consisting of two managed houses, The Woolly Sheep in Skipton and Lord Rodney in Keighley, with the remaining sixteen being run by capable tenants who stay true to the Taylor’s values. The Devonshire Hotel will also be tenanted.

Chief Executive Tim Dewey states ‘we are delighted to have purchased such a beautiful pub in the heart of a thriving community, which attracts large numbers of tourists. In the coming months we will be working with local partners to implement a full refurbishment programme’

Fans of Timothy Taylor’s award-winning beers will be delighted to hear that once the Devonshire reopens several from the range will be available on hand pull, as well as an extensive menu of freshly prepared food using locally sourced produce served daily.
