Timothy Taylor’s supports Run for Jo and The Great Get Together with Landlord donation

Timothy Taylor’s is proud to have donated 400 bottles of Landlord to support Run for Jo and The Great Get Together, helping bring people together in memory of Jo Cox MP.

Organised by The Jo Cox Foundation, The Great Get Together takes place from 19–21 June and marks 10 years since Jo was killed. Across the UK, communities will come together through street parties, picnics, sports days, school assemblies, pub events and local gatherings, all inspired by Jo’s belief that "we have far more in common than that which divides us."

As an independent Yorkshire family brewery, Timothy Taylor’s understands the important role pubs, beer and shared moments can play in bringing people together. Our donation of Landlord will help support Run for Jo and The Great Get Together, alongside our friends at Theakston Brewery.

Kim Leadbeater MP, Jo Cox’s sister, said:

"We had the original Great Get Together Beer in 2017, a year after Jo was killed, and I am delighted to see it return for the 10th anniversary. Pubs and clubs sit at the heart of our communities, and few things bring people together quite like sharing a drink. The Great Get Together Beer is a reminder that community is built through simple acts of connection and finding common ground."

Andrew Carter, CEO of Timothy Taylor’s, said:

"We're proud to have teamed up with another great Yorkshire brewery - our friends at Theakstons - to provide beers for the Run for Jo and the Great Get Together. It's another demonstration of the solidarity that sits at the heart of Jo Cox's legacy. Jo was a great Yorkshire woman who knew the power of bringing people together in our communities, across Yorkshire and throughout the UK."

How to get involved

The Jo Cox Foundation is inviting communities, organisers and publicans across the country to get involved over the weekend of 19–21 June by organising or attending a Great Get Together near them.

Publicans can also support the campaign by hosting a Great Get Together, putting The Great Get Together Beer on the bar, or encouraging customers to take part in local events.
